AUGEO has been contracted by an Italian agro-industrial company to select agricultural production sites in the Maghreb (Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia). The selection of potential sites will take into account technical criteria (soil quality, water availability, accessibility, etc.) and institutional criteria, as the governments of these countries can approve agricultural land concessions under advantageous conditions.
