AUGEO has contracted with a Spanish company that produces fresh fruits and vegetables the definition and implementation of its commercial growth program in the European Union. This company, which already exports to several European countries, wants to increase its sales in international markets, especially in those where it is not yet present, and in this way improve its global sales and disperse commercial risk, increasing the number of its Customers.

PRICE EVOLUTION – REBAR

Although with a decrease in the average price in February, REBAR prices follow a slightly upward trend. The maximum price in these first four months of 2021 on the LME was 640.83 US $ / MT, the minimum price was 563 US $ / MT and the average price was 645.88 US $ / MT. PRICE EVOLUTION – SCRAP

The price of the SCRAP has shown the same decrease of the average price in the month of February, although in this period the prices of the SCRAP have shown a slightly downward trend. The maximum price in these first four months of 2021 on the LME was 488 US $ / MT, the minimum price was 387.50 US $ / MT and the average price was 440.87 US $ / MT. AUGEO has closed a Commercial Representation Agreement with a company specialized in singular construction projects in natural stone for the markets of Algeria, Tunisia and Saudi Arabia. The company has one of its lines of specialization in Islamic Art, and has extensive experience of design, construction and installation in more than 20 countries around the world, being located its headquarters in Spain, and having a subsidiary company in the United States from America.

AUGEO, as the current operator in the international purchase – sale of steel products, especially SCRAP and REBAR, maintains a daily review service of the prices of these products. In the specific case of REBAR, prices in the month of February show an upward trend, an identical case to SCRAP, a growing price trend that is surely related to the reactivation of international activity. This upward trend is also observed in 12-month futures contracts, with prices that are higher than the current ones in this annual period. The two lower graphs show this evolution of both products based on the daily closing prices of the LME spot market.

AUGEO, taking into account the current situation and the foreseeable one in the short and medium term in the Spanish market, has started a service totally oriented towards foreign investors who need advice in their projects to approach the Spanish market, providing all the elements that a work of this nature entails: valuation of companies or of a specific sector or geographical area, negotiations, tax advice, financial, commercial, legal requirements, environmental valuation, corporate social responsibility, professional team, etc.

AUGEO has contracted with a leading German company in the ICT sector its deployment plan in Latin America. The project will include the definition of the general program of access to the markets of the countries that are valued as priorities in a first phase, according to criteria agreed between the Client and AUGEO, and its subsequent deployment to the rest of Latin America in a later phase. The initial program contemplates an execution period of three years. The project will include all aspects of introduction into new markets: strategic assessment of the target markets, capabilities of the German company (professionals, products and services, economic, financial, commercial, …), impact on the matrix in its structure and current exploitation, advantages and expected improvements, legal and fiscal aspects, …, in addition to including a mechanism for measuring the monthly results of the project and a Contingency Plan for eventual events that may distort the processes of the work described to achieve the objectives sought.

AUGEO has described a procedure that allows companies in the agri-food sector to confirm that all their processes comply with administrative requirements, beyond the formal and legal aspects subject to sanction, including sanitary elements, free competition, environmental, trademarks, etc.

AUGEO has described a Re – Launch Program for projects that were on hold due to the closure of many international markets. The Plan identifies the priorities for action and re-allocates resources to address those matters that are most urgent.

AUGEO has modified its working procedures on the markets, with the intention of providing a solid Market Intelligence tool, with rapid response for its Clients, and supported on its own documentary fund close to 17,000 commercial reports on 119 countries and territories, its access to public and private sources of information and the experience of its professionals, some of whom have been working in commercial development of markets for more than 30 years.

AUGEO has carried out a work for a group of private investors that was looking for the assessment of a project to build a plant for the production of phytonutrients. The design of the plant has been carried out by an engineering company in Madrid, and AUGEO’s work for the group of investors has included the assessment of the size of the market, both national and international, the determination of the inter-annual growth indicators of this sector in the international and domestic markets, the review of the sales positions of the different products that are being considered in the economic exploitation plans, and the identification of potential clients for this category of products.
